2026 National Day holiday shipping update

Wayo will experience shipping delays ahead of and during China’s 2026 National Day holiday. Please review the following dates before placing your order:

• September 10 - September 29, 2026: Economy and Standard shipping will experience delays. Express shipping will continue to operate as usual through the end of September 29.
• September 30 - October 7, 2026: All shipping services, including Express, will experience delays.

We have updated our system to reflect these delays. If your order is needed for an event or a specific deadline, please plan ahead and review the estimated delivery timeline before ordering.

What is National Day?

China’s National Day, celebrated on October 1, commemorates the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The official 2026 holiday runs from October 1-7, a weeklong break commonly known as Golden Week.

During this period, many factories pause production or reduce staffing as employees take time off. Suppliers and logistics providers also adjust their schedules, slowing production, order handoffs, and shipping. Increased shipping demand before the holiday can create delays before the official break begins.

Planning your order

If your order is time-sensitive, consider Express shipping, which will operate as usual through September 29, 2026. Beginning September 30, all shipping services – including Express – will experience delays through October 7.
